Baked Chicken Wings

  • Serves: 12 adults

Ingredient

5 lbs chicken wings
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Salt & Pepper
¼ cup water
¼ cup honey
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp garlic
1 Tbsp ginger

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Separated drumettes and flats and remove any wing tips.
  3. In a large bowl, toss chicken with oil and salt and pepper.
  4. Spread evenly on two baking sheets ensuring there isn’t too much overlap.
  5. Place in oven for 60 minutes turning after 15 and 30 minutes.
  6. Mince garlic and ginger.
  7. In a medium pot over high heat, bring water to a boil.
  8. Remove from heat, add soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger.
  9. Return to a medium heat for 7 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat and set aside.
  11. Remove wings from oven and transfer to paper towel.
  12. Add wings and sauce to a large bowl and toss.
  13. Serve as is or with your favorite hot sauce.

Note

No, these wings aren’t as crispy as the deep-fried kind, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t amazing!
