1 cup milk
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt

In a small bowl, mix milk and vinegar. Set aside for at least 5 minutes.
Melt butter in the microwave (about 25 seconds).
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add milk and egg to flour mixture, mix until combined.
Add melted butter, mix until combined.
Add a small amount of butter to the hot pan and coat completely.
Using a ¼ measuring cup, pour batter into three evenly sized cakes.
Flip once bubbles appear, about 3 minutes. Cook other side for 2 minutes or until brown.
